Course summary

This thought provoking course explores practice within the care of looked after children. The course encourages carers to reflect on and re-evaluate their own practice. The course highlights ways in which to ensure practice does not just meet minimum standards but exceeds them so that young people flourish and achieve the best possible outcomes. The afternoon will focus particularly in working with children in groups which is essential training for residential workers.
