Course summary

This course is designed for those staff who wish to develop their knowledge and understanding of diversity in a care setting including an understanding of equality. This incorporates client's different cultures and beliefs as well as the diversity of the staff team. The learner will be able to recognise prejudicial and discriminatory behaviour and practices. The learner will also develop an understanding of some of the legislation that related to rights, responsibilities and diversity, including some issues under employment law.
