About us

Megan Noble
Health Issues Trainer

Megan has worked within the field of Social Care and Health for 9 years, She has provided specialist training and advice to numerous partner groups including teachers, social workers, health professionals, residential staff, Connexions workers and police.
Megan is also a lecturer in Problematic Substance Misuse at the University of Sunderland, teaching various aspects of substance use and addiction at both degree and diploma level.


She has developed and delivered pioneering services to meet the needs of both young people and adults, dealing with issues related to alcohol and drugs, with a specific focus on harm reduction, needle exchange and substitute prescribing. She has worked closely with Accident and Emergency departments, GPs and maternity services.


Megan has trained pharmacies to provide services for young people in line with the quality criteria 'You're Welcome' issued by the Department of Health, including injecting equipment exchange and sexual health provision. A qualified midwife, Megan plans to develop accessible services for young people, with a particular focus on those who may be socially excluded
